How do I get a Russian entry visa?
After you get your letter of invitation, you can
take it to the Consular (Visa) Department of the Russian Embassy in your country
- and bingo! - in a matter of a few short weeks you will have the Russian visa
of your choice. Bring also 3 mat finish photos 3x4 cm(recent photos should be identical, the same size as in you passport; photos can be black-and-white or color, preferably on
mat paper), your valid passport, copy of your return air ticket, consular fee and a proof of medical insurance to the Russian Consulate. For multiple entry visas, you also require an AIDS Test certificate (test results issued within the previous 30 days). Then fill out the application form. For your convenience, we provide here several application forms. It is always a good idea to get in touch with the Russian consulate in order to receive the latest update on the required documents.
Example of application for all travelers:

Application form (in fillable Acrobat Reader .pdf format. You will need Acrobat Reader to read or print out the form.) A
free copy of the program is available for free download from the Adobe
site.
For US citizens you also need to have supplement form:

Take a few seconds to download the
application form. Check with the Russian embassy or consulate in your country if these
forms are acceptable.
When mailing the documents, please include a cover letter specifying what service you are requesting. Don't forget to include your telephone number and the address to
which the visa should be sent. It is also a very good idea to include a self-addressed envelope.
